Coalition Meetings
The Ohio Aging and Disability Transportation Coalition holds meetings virtually every 2 months. These meetings are held to discuss systems change and advocate for better transportation options for individuals within the aging and disability communities. Individuals are given the opportunity to join others from all across the state of Ohio to discuss transportation in its current state, identify barriers, gain additional knowledge and connect with state representatives to make sure our communities are being heard. Due to the current increase in COVID-19 cases state wide our meetings are being facilitated virtually via Zoom Platform.

Katie Hunt Thomas is the Disability Rights Attorney for the Ability Center of Greater Toledo, a Center for Independent Living in northwest Ohio with the mission to assist people with disabilities to live, work, and socialize within a fully accessible community. She received her B.A., magna cum laude, from Xavier University and J.D., cum laude, from the University of Toledo College of Law.
